Annie Heffele of Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union Named Junior Achievement of Alaska Volunteer of the Year
Anchorage, AK – On Thursday, January 25, 2018 – Annie Heffele of Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union will be presented with the 2018 Junior Achievement of Alaska Volunteer of the Year Award at the Alaska Business Hall of Fame in a ceremony to be held at the Dena’ina Civic & Convention Center. Junior Achievement of Alaska, Inc. and Alaska Business Monthly are the Title sponsors of this event.
Ms. Heffele has been a strong supporter of Junior Achievement and its mission to give Alaska’s youth workforce readiness skills, encourage entrepreneurship and strengthen financial literacy for more than 30 years. Annie works with local businesses to help recruit and train volunteers, partner with local educators, and raise funds for programs in Mat-Su and surrounding communities.
Junior Achievement of Alaska is very proud to recognize Annie Heffele as the JA Volunteer of the Year at the 31st Annual Hall of Fame on January 25, 2018.
The 31st annual celebration includes a reception beginning at 5:30 p.m., Dinner & Induction Ceremony at 6:30 p.m.. The evening will also include a special recognition of the many past inductees who will be in attendance. Individual tickets are $150, limited corporate sponsorship opportunities are available.
